I am pleased to address you all, on this occasion of the launch of our new website, that would pave way for our commitment to bridge the gap of accessibility of information. It also gives me immense joy and satisfaction seeing the coincidence of this launch, with the bicentenary year of birth of Don Bosco(16 August 1815 – 31 January 1888), our patron and founder. According to Don Bosco, “without confidence and love, there can be no true education”. Our committed team of staff establishes a conducive environment that allows our students to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.Efficacious education is not possible, unless a symbiotic approach and interdependent relationship exist among the educator, pupils and parents. Credible and timely information on scholastic systems, processes and people are paramount in establishing and sustaining such a relationship. In the present scenario of knowledge explosion through technological means, we need to improvise the existing skills of organizing information and prioritizing actions. In this digital age, when our students have become search engines intuitively acclimatized to technological advancement and use of varied gadgets for social net working and sharing of ideas, it is prudent and befitting on our part, to extend this burgeoning interest into intra-mural learning process as well. Thus, this website has been launched with an optimistic view, that it will become a reliable and updated source of related news and information of the school for many demographic groups like parents, students, staff, alumni and other stakeholders. Being a maiden venture, it may not be a foolproof output from the very beginning; but with dedication and continual improvement, we would march to perfection. I hope you would find this website informative, useful and user friendly. We welcome healthy criticism and request your valuable suggestions for making it better. With best wishes and prayers, Sr.Sofi FMA
